information about vc’s and angels
when i first started trying to raise capital for my business, i only understood half the terminology. whenever new words or concepts were brought up, i would nod my head and pretend like i understood. then, when i’d get home, i’d google words like “burn rate” and “pre-money valuation”.
to avoid looking confused like me, i have found this site to be awesome:

read those links. i had someone (who is just starting out in this world) comment that some of the vc expert info is confusing and complicated. if that’s the case, i recommend you read paul graham’s info on vc’s. but be warned, paul graham is opinionated and definitely not a “typical case”.
